Tom Brander, 52 of Germania, PA died Monday, February 27, 2017.

Born June 4, 1964 in Wilmington, DE to Jim and Isabelle Brander. He is survived by, Charlene, his wife of 32 years; son, Tom (Leanne) Brander, of Gaines, PA future granddaughter, Clara Brander, cousin, Kenneth (Linda) Knox, cousin, Linda Holveck, sister in-law, Sue Brander, nephew, Jim Brander, nieces, Jennifer Bellini and Christine Brander along with the children of his nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tom loved his wife, son and family dearly. He was an avid outdoors man. He loved nature, the woods, wildlife and the beach. His passions were hunting with his son, family and friends, going for 4-wheeler rides in the woods, caretaking of his property, spending time on his beloved tractor,  going horseback riding with his wife, splitting firewood to heat his home, Dunkin’ Donuts, and coffee. As a child he spent his summers on the Indian River fishing with his father and brother. He was passionate about his church. God saved him later in life. The members of Coudersport Alliance Church became our extended family.

Tom was a kind and compassionate man with a deep heart for helping others. He was a man with integrity and honor. He was soft-spoken, but his few words would touch those who listened far beyond what he could imagine.

Tom was a skilled carpenter and master craftman; a jack of all trades. There simply was nothing he could not do. His legacy remains in many homes throughout the Potter County area including his family home, built by his own two, gifted hands. In his home, he had fulfilled his lifelong dreams. His love of woodworking is evident in the quality of his workmanship.

Tom’s  services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Coudersport Alliance Church with a receiving of friends and family from 11am -12pm, funeral service to follow at 12pm, Pastor Joe Lazurek officiating. Simply casual dress.

Arrangements held by Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 North East St., Coudersport, PA 16915.
