Bill was born in Pittsburgh and graduated from Woodland Hills High School in 1988 and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 1993.  Bill was called to the funeral profession and earned his Diploma in Embalming and Funeral Directing from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1996 and was awarded with the Mu Sigma Alpha Award, presented by The National Association of Colleges of Mortuary Science to the top ten percent academic proficiency.

Bill was entrusted with his first funeral home supervisory position at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, Inc., in Milton, PA, in 1997 and has been caring for families as a funeral director for over two decades.  In addition to being a funeral director, Bill also holds a license to provide insurance products to assist families who wish to plan ahead for their funeral needs.

In Milton, Bill met his Wife, Lisa Brennan, and they share many interest including; walking, hiking, bicycling, kayaking, travelling, and anything active and outdoors.  He also shares his love for the mountains with her, especially Potter and Tioga Counties, and feels extremely blessed to have an opportunity to call Coudersport home where they can enjoy the beauty of the mountains every day and serve the community.

James Calvin Carpenter was born on October 18, 1947, near Hammondsport, NY on Lake Keuka.  Jim moved with his family to the farm near Ellisburg, PA at age five.  He graduated from Northern Potter High School in 1965 and attended Indiana University of PA and graduated Simmons Mortuary School in Syracuse, NY in at Fairfield and Meech Chapel in Syracuse, NY.  Jim was a licensed funeral director at Gray Funeral Home in Port Jervis, NY from 1969 until joining Bob Rearick in Jersey Shore in 1974 where he has been located ever since.  Jim's funeral directing career has spanned over 6 decades.  He currently counsels at Rearick Carpenter in Jersey Shore, Maneval Allen Redmond in Williamsport, Tussey Mosher in Wellsboro and Fickingers in Coudersport.  Jim has ben married for 48 years to the former Jolene Marie Chase of Ulysses and they have four children: William D., Dr. Nathan J., Amy L. Caseman, and Lucas C., along with eight grandchildren.  Over the years, Jim has been a member of the Antique and Classic Boat Society of Clayton, NY, Lions Club, Masonic Organizations in NY, Elks Lodge, Little League Baseball, and Pop Warner Football.  Jim enjoys antique boat restoration, music, meditation, hunting, fishing, theater, and visiting the "retreat" in Ellisburg, The Finger Lakes, The St. Lawrence, and Nashville, TN.

Jim has served the Coudersport area for nearly a decade with his work at the Tussey-Mosher & Thomas Fickinger Funeral Home.  Although not a lifelong resident he is the 4th generation of his family to make Holliday his home.

After graduating from Grove City College in 1990, he attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and first directed funerals in Franklin, Pennsylvania.  He married his wife Lori, and they have three children:  Joanna, Gene and Isaac.  When the opportunity to relocate to the Wellsboro area presented itself, the family relocated and built their home on property that had belonged to the farmstead.

An active member of the First Presbyterian Church, Jim and his family enjoy and participate in much of what the area has to offer.  Hunting whitetails, and hiking with the dogs are two favorite pastimes, and scholastic athletics, community musical and theatrical presentations and other opportunities happily keep the family involved in a wonderful community to call home.

Lisa was born and raised in Milton, PA.  She is a 1988 graduate of the Milton Area High School and a 1990 graduate of Central Penn College, Harrisburg,  with an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting.

She is also currently employed with The Multi-Care Center, Coudersport and formerly worked for Bayada Pediatrics were she worked with school aged children with special needs.  She also was a fitness instructor for the Milton Y.M.C.A. for more than 25 years.

Her love for people and the desire to help and comfort people during their time of grief has led her to join her husband, Bill Brennan, as part of the funeral home’s support staff.

She has always loved the outdoors and feels blessed to be living in Potter County (God’s Country) and very excited to begin her life here with Bill and help serve the community.


Andrew J. Dubots

Andrew J. Dubots

Andrew J. Dubots is a lifetime resident of Coudersport.  Andy has been employed by Olsen Tenglund Inc. (NAPA) for over 30 years, and store manager for the last 12 years.

Andy has been employed at the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home for 20 years. He has served in the Coudersport Community in the following positions:  32 year member  of the Coudersport Volunteer Fire Department, former Vice President of the Potter County Emergency Services organization, member of Potter County Fire Chiefs  Assoc., member of the Coudersport Volunteer Ambulance Assoc., former Cub Scout Leader, member of the Sons of the American Legion, member of the Eulalia Cemetery Board, serving as Vice-President for ten years and a member of the Coudersport Borough Council for twelve years, serving as president from 2004-2011.


Ronald D. Ebbert

Ronald D. Ebbert

Ronald D. Ebbert is a 1960 graduate of Coudersport High School. He served in the military from July 1960 until June 1966, serving in Korea and Germany. He is married to the former Priscilla A. Carr and resides in Austin, PA. They have three children, David, Veronica and Andrea. Ron was employed at National Fuel Gas Co.  from 1967 until his retirement in 2000, as a deep storage operator and later as a sub-foreman of the East Fork Compressor Station. Ron has always been a civic and community minded person. He was the man behind the formation of The Austin Area Jaycees in 1968 serving 1 ½ years as president. In the year 2000 he found the present  E. O.  Austin Home/ Historical Society and has served as Historical Society president since it’s beginning. Ron is a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church of Austin, and 25 year caretaker of the St. Augustine/ St. Paul Cemetery.


Frederick 'Wick' Furman

Frederick "Wick" Furman

Frederick "Wick" Furman was born and raised in Coudersport and a graduate of Coudersport High School class of 1957.  He served in the Army Security Agency from December 1957 to December 1960.  In 1962, Wick married the former Faye Moore and is the father of 5 children and grandfather to 15 grandchildren.

Wick was employed by Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY for 10 years.  Returned to Coudersport and was employed by Market Basket as store manager and retired from Adelphia in 2004 after 19 years.  He served as Mayor of Coudersport for 16 years from 1997-2013.  He is a member of St. Eulalia Catholic Church where he serves as a Eucharist Minister and also serves on the Parish Council.  Wick is also a trustee for the Coudersport Public Library.

Wick enjoys playing golf and supporting his children and grandchildren in all of their activities.
