I am so very sorry for your loss! Please find comfort from a scripture I'm sure you have read several times before but is personal to you now.

We were good friends in high school. He taught me how to play chess ... it seemed like it took many months before I could beat him. We spent a lot of time at Carl's Texas Lunch playing chess. He was a good guy and I have a lot of good memories.
