Phyllis Ann (Bridgette) Craley passed away peacefully Sunday, January 17, 2021 in her home. She was born August 10, 1941 in York, PA to Jackson E. and Betty (Waters) Bridgette. On October 31, 1968 she married Larry E. Craley with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.
Phyllis is survived by: her husband, Larry Craley of Coudersport; two daughters, Teri Metzger (Bret C.) of Coudersport and Lynne Parrott (Alan) of Dublin, OH; a son, Gregory Craley (RaeLynn) of Bakersfield, CA; 5 grandchildren, Megan McGrath (Brian), Bret E. Metzger (Edith), Phillip Parrott, Lauren Parrott and Tori Craley; and 2 great-grandchildren, Graeme McGrath and Hannah McGrath.
Phyllis was a member of Park United Methodist Church and Pennsylvania Association for Retired State Employees where she was currently serving as Vice President. Phyllis was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 192. She loved to travel extensively to watch her grandchildren play sports. She was an avid reader and would routinely read a book a day.
Phyllis retired from the State of Pennsylvania where she worked as a case worker for the Department of Human Services for 25+ years.
Due to her wishes and social restrictions surrounding Covid-19, there will be no public services, and her arrangements have been entrusted to the Thomas E.
