Mary E. Morgan:
Mary is from Coudersport, PA and entered the Home of the Lord at peace on November 23, 2021, age 99, with family at her side. She resided at Orchard Hills, Dove West in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Mary was born on August 1, 1922 in Odin, PA to the late Guy and Florence Crosby. Mary was raised by (Auntie and Uncle) Frank and Eileen Crosby. She is survived by children Keith (Donna) Morgan); Karl (Debra) Morgan; grandchildren Cassandra (CJ) Morgan and Foster Morgan. Preceded in death by late husband Joe Morgan; daughter Karen Morgan; siblings: Robert, Foster, Herbert, and Katherine.
Mary graduated High School at Williamsport, PA; she then went on to Culinary School in New York, New York. Her first job was in Trinidad, she also worked for the Manhattan project. She married Joe Morgan. She traveled often with Aunt Eileen and Uncle Frank across America. She was close friends with her sister-in-law Isabelle Cavan. Mary and Isabelle had many family gatherings in Racine and Milwaukee. Mary brought up her three children with pride. She also was supervisor for Gimbels, now known as Macy's in Milwaukee. While in Milwaukee, she enjoyed boat rides with family and going to the Milwaukee Zoo. She loved to cook leg of lamb and rib roast for the holidays. Along with making wedding cakes, and ginger bread houses with her family and grandchildren.
Those who knew Mary knew her sense of humor and sass. She was remembered for her love of family in Potters County and her vacations, especially family reunions at the Grange Hall in Odin, PA. Her last twenty years were in Eau Claire, WI enjoying her grandkids, CJ and Foster, as they grew up.
Keith has entrusted the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 N East St. Coudersport, PA with her arrangements, and friends and family are invited to pay tribute to her life from 12:00pm-1:00pm Monday December 6, 2021 in the funeral home, with a funeral to follow.
