Joanne Predmore Freeman

JoAnne Predmore Freeman, 85, of Coudersport, died Sunday, January 23, 2022 at UPMC Cole Memorial with family at her side. 

JoAnne was born on November 3, 1936, in Coudersport, PA, the daughter of the late Edward M Gillon and Greta (Taubert) Gillon. On October 12, 2002 she married the Milton S Freeman former at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Coudersport, Pa. They celebrated 19 years of marriage, until his passing on October 17, 2021.

JoAnne was a life time resident of Coudersport area and a graduate Coudersport High,School, Class of 1955.  She worked on the Predmore dairy farm for 30 years, volunteered for the Coudersport Ambulance and was Summit Township Tax Collector.

JoAnne was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, President and member TOPS and enjoyed quilting, knitting, needlepoint, crossword puzzles and spending time with family.

JoAnne is survived sisters, Jean Gillon Chuvala of Burnsville, NC; Georgiana Gillon Kiley of Whiting, NJ; sister in-law Ann Predmore (Calvin) Smith, children, Carol Predmore Davis of McKinney,TX; Bruce Predmore of Hotchkiss, CO; John (Thelma) Predmore of Casa Grande,AZ; step children; Deborah (Robert) Hults of Millerstown; Steven (Linda) Freeman of Coudersport; Linda ( Victor )  Brown of Coudersport; Jeffrey (Mary) Freeman of Coudersport; Lorraine (William) Brown of Milan; Mary Jo Freeman of Coudersport; Emily Jo (Daniel) Skelton of Fisherville, IN; Coudersport; 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and a great great grandson.

In addition to her parents and second husband, Joanne was preceded by her first husband, Homer Bruce Predmore on January 31, 1999, a sister Mary Gillon Greenawalt, a daughter, Cindy Predmore Leuer and a step son, Mark Freeman.

There will be no service or visitation. The family has entrusted the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 North East St., Coudersport, PA 16915 with her arrangements.

A celebration of JoAnne’s life will be held at a later date.
