Ella S. Dingman, 91 of Coudersport, passed away in long-term care at UPMC Cole Thursday October 29, 2020. She was born November 16, 1928 to Wellington and Ina (Houseman) Stisser in Lyndonville, NY. She graduated from Penn State’s school of nursing and was an LPN. On November 26, 1948 she married John Dingman with whom she shared 59 years of marriage until his death in August of 2008. Ella worked as a nurse at Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport, was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Roulette VFD, enjoyed travelling, reading, doing crossword puzzles and playing solitaire.
Ella is survived by two sons: Larry Dingman (Rebecca) of Leeds, AL, and Paul Dingman (Kathy) of Coudersport; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother: Kevin Stisser (Melva) of Anderson, IN; and a sister-in-law: Jean Stisser of Wheatfield, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers: Lyle and Robert Stisser; and two sisters: Mirian and Wilma Stisser.
