Elizabeth Sarah Jackson

Elizabeth Sarah (Angelini) Jackson, 86, of Bath, NY, formerly of Coudersport, PA, passed away Friday December 18, 2020 at Taylor Health Care Center in Bath, NY.

Elizabeth was born on April 13, 1934 in Mansfield, OHOH, the daughter of the late John and Anna (Dolce) Angelini. She was the wife of the late Donald L. Jackson of Shinglehouse, PA. 

Elizabeth attended Zion Bible College in Providence, RI, where she studied and sang in a travelling trio.  She worked many years at the Market Basket in Shinglehouse PA. Her loves were spending time with her children and grandchildren baking, gardening and singing.  Elizabeth was a very active member of Coudersport Gospel Tabernacle where she also put her baking and singing skills to use.

Elizabeth is survived by three children: Judy (Pete) Hannan of Avoca, NY; Cathy (David) Lent of Coudersport, PA; Greg (Janet) Jackson of Shinglehouse, PA; brothers, John (Joyce) Angelini of Mansfield, OH; Dan (Kathy) Angelini of Quechee, VT; and Tom (Becky) Angelini of Mansfield, OH; two sisters, Ruthie (Chuck) Cirelli of Industry, PA; and Maggie Mauritz of Flower Mound, TX; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.   

In addition to her parents and husband, Elizabeth was preceded in death by two sisters and brother-in-law, Josephine (Joe) Riei and Mary (John) Eli, and a brother, Dominick Angelini.

Due to the health concerns and social restrictions surrounding Covid-19, a celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held at a later date.  In Lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions in Elizabeth’s name be made to the Coudersport Gospel Tabernacle Missionary Bible Program, 420 Route 6 West, Coudersport, PA 16915. 

The family has entrusted the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 North East Street, Coudersport, PA 16915 with her arrangements.
