Christopher Mark Dexter

Christopher Mark Dexter, 39, of Genesee, died Friday, May 28, 2021.  

Chris was born on December 17, 1981, in Olean, NY, the son of Mark and Brenda (Heap) Dexter of Alma, NY.  He married the former Teresa A. Siebert who survives. 

Chris enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, listening to music and spending time with his family. 

In addition to his parents and wife, Chris is survived by two sons, Colin and Cody Dexter of Eldred; two daughters, Jade Dexter of Rochester, NY; Emilee Fuller of Silver Springs, NY; a brother, Ryan Dexter of Coudersport; half brothers, Patrick Maine of Alma, NY and Myan Dexter of North Adams, MA; half sisters, Tracy Maine of Shinglehouse; Shannon VanKeuren of Hopkinsville, KY; and Syrena Dexter of North Adams, MA. 

Chris was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and a son Christian Siebert.   

Family and friends are welcome to pay tribute to Chris’s life Saturday June 5, 2021 from 10-11 am at the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 North East Street Coudersport. A funeral service will follow at 11 am with Pastor Marty Montgomery, officiating.  Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse. 

In lieu of flowers the family asks for contributions in Chris’s name to be made to the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 70, Coudersport, PA 16915, to assist with funeral expenses.
