Shirley (Elliott) Reedy

Shirley (Elliott) Reedy, 76, of Coudersport passed away Sunday February 14, 2021.  She was born November 8, 1944 in Grayson, NC to Edgar and Bertie (Richardson) Elliott.  She married Donald F. Reedy, Sr. on 11/9/1960.  Shirley was a seamstress and also worked at Pure Carbon.  She was an avid crafter and very accomplished at knitting, sewing, embroidery, painting and coloring.  She especially enjoyed her Christmas tradition of knitting gloves, scarves and hats and baking cookies, and then taking them to local nursing homes and elementary schools accompanied by her husband, dressed as Santa Claus. Shirley is survived by her daughter: Dianna Lofland (Michael) of Henderson, MD; her son: Daniel Reedy Sr and two step-sons:  Donald Reedy, JR. (Mary) of Henderson, MD, and Jeffrey Keeble of Marydel, MD; 8 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two sisters:  Barbara Elliott of Elkton, MD and Tammy McCarthy of Aberdeen, MD. She is also survived by a special granddaughter, Amber Baker who lived with her and took care of her for the last 4 years of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a sister: Anita Rowland. Services will be private at the convenience of her family.  Her arrangements have been entrusted to the Thomas E.
