Ray "Boog" Stuckey, 89, of Keating Summit, PA, passed away in Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 25, 2015.
Born December 3, 1925 in Austin, PA, he was the son of late Isaac and Emma (Mahon) Stuckey.
Ray retired after 40 years of service as a Manufacturing Foreman for Cameron Diversified of Emporium, Pa. Upon retirement, he worked briefly for the DMV Photo Center in Coudersport, Pa.
Ray loved to tell a good joke, almost as much as he loved to be outdoors. He was an avid reader of outdoor publications, and was often found reading any published work of Louis L'amour. Ray especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his sister Jessie Housler of St. Mary’s, Pa, as well as his 7 children, 10 step children, several grandchildren and great grand children, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wives Alma, Faye, Anne, and Ruth. He was also preceded by his siblings Eva, William, Lena, Isaac, Herman, Norman, and Bette.
Ray’s memorial service was held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Austin United Methodist Church, officiated by C.L.M. Todd Lamer. Burial will take place in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Austin, PA at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cole Manor Residents Activity Fund at 101 East Maple Street, Coudersport, Pa, 16915.
