Marie Rose Arrowood

Marie Rose Arrowood, 58, of Coudersport, died Sunday, December 5, 2021 at her home after an extended illnesses.

Marie was born on March 19, 1963, in Munich, Germany, the daughter of the late Fordyce A. Reese and Rosemarie (Grietl) Reese of Coudersport.

In addition to her loving mother, Marie is survived by her daughters, Heather Lynne (Mike) Postlewait and Amanda Lee (Gregory) Wehler both of Port Allegany; a son, Chad W. Barr, Jr. of Austin; brothers, Erhard (late Wanda Long) Reese and David (Susan) Reese both of Coudersport; sisters, Loretta (late Frank) Battaglia of Spring Hills, FL; and Ellen (Larry) Goodwin of Coudersport; five grandchildren, Pamela S. (Jason) Crants, William D. (Emily Simms) Postlewait, Madison Bailey Langfitt, Abel James Langfitt and Olivia Grace Wehler a great granddaughter, Sutton Faith Crants and several neices and nephews.

In addition to her father, Marie was preceded in death by a sister, Rose (Donnie) Wilson and a brother, Fordyce “Al” (Angela) Reese, Jr. And her beloved dog Cubby.

A celebration of Marie’s life will be held on December 18, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Open Arms Church, Port Allegany.  A Private family burial service to follow at Reeseville cemetery.

The family has entrusted the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 North East St. Coudersport, PA, with her arrangements.
