Linda S. Billyard

February 9, 1956 — December 8, 2021

Linda Stuckey Billyard, 65, of Dubois, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on December 8, 2021.

Linda was born February 9, 1956 in Wellsville, NY to Max Stuckey Sr. and Genevieve (Eaton) Stuckey.  She grew up in Roulette, PA, attended Port Allegany Jr/Sr High School with the class of 1974, joined the Roulette Alumni, and attended UPB.  Later in life she obtained a certificate at OBI

Self-described as "zany", Linda was known for many things.  She had her own style of driving, While some might label it inventive, others just called it scary. Her love of travel and amusement parks took her to places near and far and never one to pass on travel, she enjoyed adding stamps to her passport.

Her largest collections were tigers, angels, and butterflies.  Linda enjoyed watching game shows, reality TV, spoiling her cat, astrology, numerology, and feng shui, she considered Friday the 13th her lucky day.

Linda may be best known as an avid saver. As a coupon, rebate and sweepstakes enthusiast, she made a game of saving money and winning things. From personalized pens to a trip for four to Disney, her efforts earned a wide array of treasures for herself, friends, family, and charities throughout the last 45 years.

She worked at Pierce Glass (now Ardagh) until an injury forced her retirement in the late 1990s.  She later volunteered at the former Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport before moving to DuBois to be closer to her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by a large family:daughters Tina and Amy, grandchildren Dylan, Donivan, Harley, Emily, Torie, Ariani, and Domenick, great-grandsons Leo and Grayson, brother Max Jr, sisters Debra, Diana, and Pamela, 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 aunts, and her unimaginably spoiled cat, Cry.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Howard, a nephew Jamie, a grandson Nicolas, and her precious dog, Josie.

Visitations will be held at the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home 210 N. East Street, Coudersport, PA on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 6-7pm and Saturday June 25, 2022 from 1-2pm.
