Lavere J. Peters

Lavere J. Peters, 91, of Coudersport, formerly of York, passed away March 4, 2021 at UPMC – Cole, Long Term Care, Coudersport.

Lavere was born on January 16, 1930 in York, the son of the late Howard G. and Ella (Hoofmaster) Peters.  He married the former Dolores M. Brown on June 3, 1956 and celebrated 64 years of marriage.

Lavere Owned and Operated his own Plumbing and Heating business in York for 40 years, with his wife.  He was a member of St. Eulalia Catholic Church and was an active volunteer in the Coudersport area.

In addition to his wife, Dolores, Lavere is survived by two sons, Max and Randy Peters, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  Lavere was also one of 17 children.

At Lavere’s request, there will be no visitation or services.

The family has entrusted the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 North East St. Coudersport, with his arrangements.
