Kenneth L. Schoonover

Kenneth L. Schoonover, 64, of Coudersport, passed away early Thursday March 23, 2023, at Sweden Valley Manor. He was born July 17, 1958, in Wellsboro to Amon and Sandra (Goodreau) Schoonover. He graduated from high school and worked on local farms and as a pressman in local printing companies. Ken was well-liked and a good friend. He was a long-time member of American Legion Post 192, loved NASCAR (especially the Earnhardts), and was a die-hard Steelers fan. He is survived by his mother: Sandra Schoonover, of Coudersport; two brothers: Charles Schoonover (Angie) of Coudersport and Ronald Schoonover (Pat) of Emmaus, PA; a close life-long friend: Lester Taylor (Della) of Coudersport and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. An opportunity to pay tribute to Ken's life at a memorial service will take place at a future date. Ken's arrangements have been entrusted to the Thomas Fickinger Funeral Home 210 N. East Street Coudersport, PA. Burial will be in Eulalia Cemetery.
