Katherine J. Kenyon

Katherine J. Kenyon, 67, of Coudersport, passed away Tuesday December 7, 2021, at UPMC-Cole, Coudersport.

Katherine was born on November 25, 1954, in Port Allegany, the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Ellen (McLaughlin) Lewis.  She married Kent L. Kenyon on June 25, 1988 and they have celebrated 33 years of marriage.

Katherine graduated from Port Allegany High School, Class of 1973 and worked as a nursing assistant at Cole Memorial for 43 years.  She attended the Hebron Seventh Day Baptist Church and also attended and was married in the Myrtle Gospel Tabernacle, Shinglehouse.  In her younger years she was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Port Allegany.  Katherine enjoyed music and singing.

In addition to her husband, Kent, Katherine is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Kenyon of Coudersport; and a sister, Julia Lewis of Denver, CO.

A celebration of Katherine’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials contributions in Katherine’s name be made to, Hebron Seventh Day Baptist Church, 13 East Carley Hill Road , Coudersport, PA 16915.

The family has entrusted the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 North East St., Coudersport PA 16915 with her arrangements.
