Karen D. Lynch

Karen D. Lynch, 74, of Coudersport, died Friday, October 15, 2021 at UPMC - Cole.

Karen was born on November 4, 1946, in Saint Marys, the daughter of the late Michael and Rita (Friedl) Pollick.  She married Dennis Lynch on June 12, 1971 and have celebrated 50 years of marriage.

Karen graduated from Elk County Catholic High School, Class of 1965 and retired from Adelphia Cable in 2007 after 20 years of service as a Payroll Clerk and then as a Payroll Supervisor.  She also volunteered at the Coudersport Senior Center and as a driver for the American Cancer Society in Coudersport.  Karen was a member of St. Eulalia Catholic Church, Coudersport.

In addition to her husband, Karen is survived by daughters, Denise M. (Jeff) Pirrung of Jacksonville, FL; Regina L. (Timothy) Costello of Etters, PA; Lynn M. (Daniel) Muir of Kunkletown, PA; a sister, Mary Armanini of Saint Marys; ten grandchildren, Alex (Tyler) Payne, Lilly Pirrung, Elizabeth Pirrung, Caroline Pirrung, John Pirrung, Francis Pirrung, Karlee Haskins, Griffin Haskins, Ella Muir and Brodie Muir, and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by a brother Michael “ Bucky” Pollick.

At Karen’s request there will be no visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Eulalia Catholic Church, with Rev. James Campbell officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Eulalia Catholic Cemetery.

The family suggest contributions in Karen’s name be made to the American Cancer Society of Coudersport or to the Cole Foundation,  1001 East Second Street, Coudersport, PA 16915 for both organizations.

The family has entrusted the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 North East St. Coudersport, PA, with her arrangements.
