Joseph R. Hardy

Joseph R. Hardy, 89, of Austin, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at his home.

Joseph was born on April 25, 1934, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late William and Anna (McLaughlin) Hardy.  He was married to the former Donna J. Parsons, who preceded him in death on March 10, 2020.

Joseph worked for Lone Star Cement Corp.

Surviving are sons, Richard (Christine) Phillips of Austin; Jeff (Jill) Hardy of Robinson; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  In addition to his wife and parents, Joseph was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

At Joseph’s wishes there will be no visitation or services.
