John Quay Sohn

John Q Sohn, 68, of Coudersport, Pa., passed away peacefully on April 27, 2022 at his home from a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Sue Sohn, mother, Mary Ellen Sohn, brothers, David Sohn, Robert Sohn and wife Terry, daughters, Teresa McCoy and Rachele Sohn, son John Sohn, grand daughter, Julia Carrizales, and niece Hannah Sohn. John loved and lived for the great outdoors. Throughout his life, his greatest and most pleasurable interests were motorcycle rides, hunting with great friends, playing the guitar, taking his boat out, building just about anything with his bare hands, old cars and can't forget a really great gun show. A good wood burning stove fire, cup of coffee, cigarette and spotting a big bear, deer, fox or coyote and firing a gun or two was his idea of a great day! Boy did he love the wildlife and fresh mountain air! He loved his country and took great pride in and for it. John passed with comfort and happiness from his loved ones with kisses, hugs, holding hands, jokes and laughter and one last bowl of his favorite ice cream! It is shared and believed he passed with final peace in his heart and soul. He will be missed by his family and great friends. There will be a memorial for John at his home on May 21st, 2022.
