James Burrs

James Henry Burrs, 73, of Keating Summit, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 30, 2026, following a brief illness.

Born March 21, 1953, in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Veronica (Gasbarre) Burrs and the late James Burrs Sr.

James was preceded in death by his twin sisters, Sue and Sally; and his nephews, Eric and Jason Cook.

He is survived by his mother, Veronica (Gasbarre) Burrs; his siblings, John Burrs and Jeanine Allegretto; his children, Michael, Joe, Elissa, and Ashley; and his eight grandchildren, Aiden, AJ, Gavin, Gage, Brynne, Brielle, Bradleigh, and Braelyn. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

James worked at PSM Brownco for many years until his retirement.

He enjoyed the peace and solitude of his home, where he preferred to spend his time.

In accordance with his final wishes, James will be cremated, and no funeral services will be held, and his arrrangements have been entrusted to the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home 210 N.
