Gilbert H. Kauffman

Gilbert H. Kauffman, 78, of Coudersport, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026, at UPMC - Cole, Coudersport. He was born on July 8, 1948, the son of the late Albert & Anna (Sweeney) Kauffman.

Gilbert was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from Washington University, St. Louis, MO. He worked as a Bio Medical Researcher and held many patens.

Gilbert is survived by his companion, Linda Mayer. In addition to his parents, Gilbert was preceded in death by his wife, Jean (Nelson) Kauffman.
