Edmund L. Chandler

Edmund L. Chandler, 83, of Coudersport, passed away, Thursday, March 16, 2023 at UPMC – Cole, Coudersport.  Edmund was born January 25, 1940, in Philadelphia, the son of the late Gilbert and Catherine (Lyons) Chandler.

Edmund worked for Otis and American Elevator constructing elevators.  He was a member of the I.U.E.C. Local 5, and the N.R.A.  Edmund enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Edmund is survived by a son, Douglas S. (John Lantz) Chandler of Philadelphia; a daughter, Kimberly A. Lathrop of Emporium; a sister, Joan Auge of Havertown; three grandchildren, Brianna (Erica) Chandler, David Schaeffer, and Michael Schaeffer, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his best friend Cody, his german shepherd.  In addition to his parents, Edmund was preceded in death by a son, Edmund G. Chandler, and sisters, Florence Chandler and Elizabeth Hehn.

There will be no visitation and a private burial will be in Summit Cemetery.
