Dolores "Lois" I. Gordon

Dolores I. “Lois” Gordon, 86, of Roulette, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Sweden Valley Manor.  Lois was born on April 21, 1937, in Coudersport, the daughter of the late Willard Peet and Pauline Beazer.  She married Erdmund D. “Dewey” Gordon on October 25, 1956 in Roulette and celebrated 36 years of marriage until his passing on November 11, 1992.

Lois was of Baptist faith, worked for Truck Lite for a short time, and mostly loved spending time with her family.

Lois is survived by four sons: Neal (Laurie) Gordon of Port Allegany; Dale (Christine) Gordon of Commequiers, France; Dean (Judy) Gordon of Roulette; Roger (Chrystal) Gordon of Turtlepoint; grandchildren: Stephanie Spencer, Brian Spencer, Jason Werts, Joshua Mourey, Danielle Cole, Levi Gordon, Calvin Gordon, Léa Gordon, Duane Gordon, Sharla Gordon, Drew Gordon, Sarah Schapp, Emily Gordon, and many great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband and parents, Lois was preceded in death by a sister, Anita Pease, and her grandparents, that raised her, Fred and Isabelle Peet.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 6-8pm and Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 10am – 12pm at the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 N. East St, Coudersport.  A funeral service will follow at 12pm, Wednesday, at the funeral home with Rev. James Richards, officiating.  A private burial will be in Sweden Hill Cemetery, Coudersport.
