Deborah Lee Quelet

May 29, 1953 — May 25, 2025

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Deborah Lee (Gall) Quelet, 71, on May 25, 2025, after a long battle with cancer, in Coudersport.  Debbie was born on May 29, 1953 and was preceded in death by her parents, Violet Pearl (Grifith) and George Delemare Gall, and two older sisters, Fay and Marcia.  Debbie was one of eight siblings and is survived by: George, Alice, Lucy, Sharon, and Bruce.  She was a loving and adored wife of Stephen Millard Quelet for 54 years, and a beloved mother to Lisa Anne (Quelet) Gandolfi, and a treasured grandmother to Douglas, Mathew, and Holly Widzins.  She was born and raised in Baltimore County, MD, lived in Cinnaminson, NJ for 25 years, and Coudersport for 21 years.  She became a “great” grandma to Rowen Matthew Widzins on May 9, 2025!

For many years Debbie had her own cleaning business, and later worked for the Potter County Ed Council, and for Muccio Transportation as a driver.  Debbie was an exceptional artist, expressing her love and her faith through many mediums, and her creative spirit was admired by many.  She firmly believed that her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ stamped a creative spirit in her heart, which also included home decorating and her love for gardening.

Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories for a brief celebration of her life, Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 12-1 pm at the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 N. East Street, Coudersport.  Memorial contributions in Debbie’s name can be made to the UPMC Cole Hospice, 1001 East Second St., Coudersport, PA 16915.  To share a memory or condolence with the family visit www.thomasfickinger.com.
