David L. Plotts

David L Plotts, 79 of Coudersport, passed away Sunday January 12, 2020 at UPMC Cole in Coudersport. Born November 11, 1940 to Walter and Pearl (Uhl) Plotts in Coudersport, David graduated from Coudersport High School and in 1959 joined the US Navy. On June 23, 1962 he married Darla Covell, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. David was a member of the Port Allegheny American Legion, a Life Member and past Vice-President of the Austin Costello Sportsman’s Club, he loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his wife and his dog. David is survived by his wife: Darla Plotts of Coudersport; 2 daughters: Laurel L. Andrews (Darryl) of Texas, and Michelle Chambers of Washington; 6 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother: Wesley Plotts (Joan) of St. Mary’s; and a sister: Mina Cooney of Austin. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son: Shawn Potts. Services will be at the family’s convenience at a later date. His family has entrusted the arrangements to the Thomas E.
