Christian M. “Rocky” Siebert, 18, of Austin, died Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at his residence.

Rocky was born on November 4, 2002, in Coudersport, the son of Earl (Stephanie Nelson) Grabowski of Galeton and Teresa (Christopher) Dexter of Harrison Valley.  He was raised by his grandmother, Brenda Siebert of Austin.

Rocky was a senior at Austin Area High School and was selected and completed Homeland Security Training in Washington D.C.  He was also a three sport athlete playing football for Coudersport High School and basketball and baseball for Austin High School. Rocky was a member of the Roulette Fish & Game Club and the Austin Costello Sportsman Club.  He also enjoyed fishing, deep sea fishing, hunting, trapping, cutting lawns, construction and mechanics.  He was very skilled in many areas.

In addition to his parents and maternal grandmother, Rocky is survived by his paternal grandparents, Carol and Billy Stevens of Galeton; great grandmother, Carole (Michael Majot) Briggs of Austin; brother, Kaleb Grabowski of Galeton; sister, Destiny Grabowski of Port Allegany; step-brothers, Colin and Cody Dexter both of Eldred; and Justin Sherwood of Port Allegany; uncles, Robert (Sherrie) Proctor of Coudersport; Curtis (Kassie) Proctor of Port Allegany; and Dennis (Jody) Proctor of Lewis Run; step grandparents, Brenda and Mark Dexter of Belmont, NY; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rocky was preceded in death by his grandfather, Franklin Siebert, great grandparents, William and Florence Logue, a cousin, Kaleb Haynes and a family friend, Lucas Toomey.

Family and friends are welcome to pay tribute to Rocky’s life Friday April 30, 2021, from 6-8 pm at the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 North East Street Coudersport. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the funeral home at 1:00 pm with Pastor Marty Montgomery, officiating.  COVID health guidelines will apply.  Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse.

Memorial contributions can be made in Rocky’s name to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at afsp.org.
