Charles R. Barber

Charles R. Barber, 79, of Coudersport, PA passed away late Wednesday evening at his residence.
He was born in Sardinia, NY on September 23, 1936 one of fifteen children to Clair and Verona Witherill
Barber.
He was a U.S. Army veteran near the close of the Korean War. He was a self employed lumberjack his whole life. Charles enjoyed H.A.M.M. Radio operation and was a member of the H.A.M.M. Radio Association. He also was a member of the GEO Cache Organization.
He is survived by 4 children, Charles, Bonnie, Tina, and Melinda all of New York State along with 5 grand-children- Cody, Tiesha, BJ, Jean-Luc, and Joe. There are 3 great grandchildren-Brielle, Johnny and Rylan. He also had 14 siblings- Jane, Shirley, Donna, Dianne, Betsy, Joanne, Mary Lou, May Maize, and Lois, John, Don and James.
In keeping with Charles wishes his family will hold a “picnic” when the weather breaks.
