Byron R. Mccleary

Byron R. McCleary, 67, of Coudersport, died Sunday, January 2, 2022 at UPMC – Cole, Coudersport.

Byron was born on June 20, 1954 in Warren, OH, the son of the late Richard R. and Carol Ann (Carson) McCleary.  On October 18, 2003, he married the former Anne Constantine and they have celebrated 18 years of marriage.

Byron was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was employed for many years with Level 3, Coudersport, where he served in many capacities including as a communications tech.  Byron was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church, Coudersport and was a former vestry member.  He was a member of the Eulalia Masonic Lodge #342, Coudersport, and he enjoyed reading, history, baseball and time with his family and extended family.

In addition to his wife, Anne McCleary, Byron is survived by a brother, William (Teressa) McCleary  of Warren, OH; a sister, Gayle (Russell Putt) Cassidy of Austintown, OH; three step children; Kathryn (Thomas) Tangretti, Bethany (Randy Shantel) Redmond, and Mark (Silvana Angeli) Zedonek, and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Christ Episcopal Church, with Mother Janis Yskamp officiating.
