Addison Herbert "Herb" Sallade

Addison Herbert “Herb” Sallade, 92, of Coudersport, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at The Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport.

Herb was born on September 27, 1927 in Coudersport, the son of the late Matthew Stanley and Ester Pauline (Franke) Sallade.

Herb operated the family Dairy Farm on Cherry Spring Road and successfully built up whole registered Holstein Dairy Herd.   Herb was an active member of the Sweden Valley Faith Community United Methodist Church and the Central Grange, Sweden Valley.

Surviving are nieces and nephews; William Sallade, Deb DeGroff, Kathleen (Sallade) Swiecicki, and Charles Sallade.

In addition to his parents, Herb was preceded in death by brothers; Frederick and Eugene Sallade and a sister, Mary Sallade.

A graveside service will be held August 1, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Sweden Hill Cemetery with Rev. Scott Ogden officiating.

The family has entrusted the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home 210 North East St., Coudersport, PA 16915 with his arrangements.
