Richard L. Lepold

Richard L. Lepold, 50, of Eldred, formerly of Coudersport, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at UPMC – Cole, Coudersport.  

Richard was born on October 17, 1968 in Coudersport, the son of the late Richard Lepold and Bea (Bova) Blow.   He was married to the former Debbie Tubbs, who survives.

Richard worked in the auto glass repair business and was a truck driver.  He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 258, Port Allegany.  He was a NASCAR and Pittsburgh Steeler fan, enjoyed shooting pool and spending time with his kids.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Debbie Lepold, are a daughter, Sierra D. Lepold and her fiancé Devon Upshaw of Abilene, TX; a son, Kameron T. Lepold of Coudersport; a brother Brad and his wife Sherry Lepold of Eldred; sisters, Rose Lepold Guthrie and her husband Melvin of Glenn Burnie, MD; and Lori Lepold Prince of Muncy; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

At Richard’s request, there will be no viewing or visitation. A time of remembrance and a fund raiser for the family will be held Friday, October 11, 2019 from 4-6 pm at the Sweden Valley United Methodist Church, 1450 East Second Street, Coudersport.  Dinner will be served.
