Shirley L. (Fourness) Kuhn , 94, formerly of Roulette, PA passed away August 27, 2017 at Cole Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing and Rehab Unit.

 Born January 9, 1923 in Coudersport, she was the daughter of Meredith and Maybelle Hackett Fourness. On November 30, 1940 she married Walter Kuhn, who preceded her in death May 7, 1992.

Shirley was a graduate of Coudersport High School. She was a   member of the Riverside Methodist Church in Roulette, PA.  She was a lifetime member of the Roulette Fire Department   Auxiliary and member of the Riverside Methodist Women. Her interests included quilting, knitting, crocheting and puzzles. She also enjoyed tracking weather patterns. To many, she was known as “Gram”.

Shirley is survived by her sons; Douglas Kuhn and his wife Helen of Ocala, FL, Robert Kuhn of Roulette, PA, Daniel Kuhn of Roulette, PA and Rodney Kuhn and his wife Linda of Lenoir City, TN and her daughter Shirley Bilek and her husband Gary of Cranesville, PA, 23 grandchildren, 15 Great-grandchildren and 7 Great –Great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son; John Kuhn and daughters; Marsha Kuhn and Audrey Painter.

A funeral service will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 at 1pm at the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 North East St., Coudersport, PA .  Pastor  Ben Zimmerman will be officiating.  A visitation will be held Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Genesee Cemetery.
