Edward “Butch” C. Black, 47, of Galeton, PA passed away, Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Sweden Valley Manor in Coudersport, PA.

Born September 24, 1970 in Coudersport, he was the son of Edward L. and Darla (Hallett) Black.

Butch was a graduate of Coudersport High School.  He was employed at Darrow Motors in Wellsboro, PA in the auto body repair shop. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson and four  wheeler. He enjoyed restoring vehicles for work and leisure. He will be remembered for his outgoing, friendly and funny personality.

Butch is survived by his father, Edward L. Black of Coudersport, PA ; sisters, Deborah (Dean) Hint of Cuba, NY and Barbara (Rob) Black of Moncks Corner, SC; niece, Kylie Hint and nephew, Cory Hint;  Aunt Pat , Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Dave, and Aunt Shirley;  several cousins;  ex-wife Shari and her children, Joe and Brent. He was preceded in death by his mother Darla Black and nephew, Donny.

In keeping with Butch’s wishes there will be no services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Coudersport American Legion Post 192.
